about
Our Family & Women's Specialist
Michelle recognizes the courage it takes to reach out for support, especially after years of caring for others or holding things together on one’s own. She offers a warm, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable sharing what feels most important to them – including parts of life that may feel confusing, heavy, or difficult to put into words.
Michelle believes healing happens through connection, and that feeling genuinely heard, respected, and supported is a powerful part of the therapeutic process. Her work is shaped by both her clinical training and meaningful lived experience, including years of personal reflection, navigating life’s transitions, and over 30 years of experience working with youth and families in diverse and complex situations.
She understands that for many women, midlife can bring complex emotional experiences such as shifts in identity, relationships, roles, and expectations, alongside grief, growth, and a desire for deeper authenticity. Michelle brings empathy, curiosity, and a grounded presence to her work, prioritizing safety, choice, and collaboration at every step.
Therapy with Michelle is a collaborative journey guided by each client’s goals, values, and what matters most to them. Together, she and her clients move at a pace that feels right, working toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.
